POMEGRANATE PLANT – Live Plant 1 year old, just breaking dormancy. 8″to 12″ Tall Tree Home Garden Bonsai Fruit. Shipped with USPS Priority Mail. Free Shipping. Great Condition – These one year old trees have been winter hardened and are just breaking dormancy. Unlike our smaller pomegranates, these 8 to 12 inch plants have multiple branches that are ready to train if you mean to bonsai them. If you’re going for a pomegranate hedge, these plants will easily be four to five feet tall as as wide as you want to train them. This is their second full year and although it would be overly optimistic to say that they will flower and fruit this year, it’s much more likely to happen next year. If you buy this and live anywhere North Carolina or northward, please grow this in a sunny window until your last frost date and please consider containerizing this plant as pomegranates can live down to about 15 degrees (F), but time spent below that, especially in a container will most likely not end well. Protect your investments! Perfect for Bonsai – The small stature of this plant along with it’s rapid growth rate this year will make it a perfect bonsai plant for the beginner or the expert. Perfect for Privacy Hedge – Pomegranates are thorny! While in the growing season, these plants look all innocent…green, lush leaves flutter and topiary nicely, but if your kid brother decides to tackle you, sending you sprawling into the pomegranate… there will be blood. Plant these trees four feet apart and in two years, neither animal or man will venture onto your property. If you need large quantities for a full on fence, message me and I can set up a multi-tree sale with better pricing for both plants and shipping. Perfect for Fruit/Eating – Pomegranates are prolific reproducers and do well in pots where the climate is too cold for them. Give your plant good soil and plenty of water and light and soon the entire family will be enjoying a fruit tree that does not require pesticides or other chemicals so prevalent in commercial fruit.f Features and Benefits of Growing Pomegranates at Home – Pomegranates are FAST GROWING! The four inch twig that I planted last spring is now four feet tall and raring to go. Pomegranate Hedges are impregnable! If there’s a spot on your property you never want to see your neighbor Bill walking through…Pomegranates are the answer. Plant one every four feet and you will have a living barbed wire fence that will give you beautiful flowers, then fruit in the summer and will keep Bill on his own land all year round. Low cost, fast growing security. Pomegranates are all kinds of HEALTHY. Antioxidant polyphenols to protect your cells, other vital natural chemicals that work as anti-inflammatories, may help control diabetes and blood pressure, help with sexual function and protect against heart disease! Some people like the crunch and eat the seeds, now that’s fiber! Colon health here we come! Now, when I was a kid we used to buy pomegranate juice by the gallon and make beautiful jelly that was so sweet and tangy! Pomegranate juice mixed with Sprite is amazing as well. The juice freezes very well so you can store it all year long and just thaw what you need. GROWING POMEGRANATES IS EASY at home. This is also a perfect container plant as it does not like to sit in water. How Your Plant Will Arrive – Your plant will arrive in a bagged soil/root ball. Please pot or plant your new pomegranate as soon as possible. The plant is just breaking dormancy or is about to break dormancy. Please make sure it has a happy home as leaves flush out. Your Purchase Will Do Great Things – My name is Chris and I’m starting a U-pick blueberry farm in Lyman, South Carolina…Tip-Top Berry Farms LLC to be exact. The Nursery at Tip-Top stems from my long love of growing and the proceeds of the fine trees that I sell will be tucked away in savings in order to buy the 9 to 12 acres necessary to have a World-Class blueberry farm with raspberries and blackberries as living fencing. Thank you for considering the purchase of a tree from my collection. Tip-Top Berry Farms is an extension inspected plant producing nursery in the state of South Carolina. Cheers, Chris
