The needles on this small pine curl and are gold in color, hence the perfect name ‘Goldilocks’. The needles have a silver undertone, giving ‘Goldilocks’ a cool toned color. The habit is a bit sweeping and upright. Puts on 6-8 inches a year. This makes a great companion tree to Japanese Maples and other dwarf conifers. Hardy to zone 5. This auction is for one 2 year old grafted tree growing in a 1 gallon pot. The tree photographed is the actual tree for sale. It is 12” tall and 6” wide. We have included photos of the trunk and graft union for those considering bonsai training. A portion of the Pinus strobus under stock has been left on this tree. we suggest keeping that branch on until at least late next spring to help nurture this young tree along. The tree will be shipped in it’s 1 gallon container. We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays via 3-day Priority Mail USPS. This ensures the trees will arrive to you by weeks end and not spend a weekend at the post office. This sale is only open to United States bidders. Also, due to phytosanitary restriction regulations, we do not ship to Oregon, California, Washington state, or Hawaii.
