NO ARIZIONA SHIPPING, BUT I CAN SHIP TO ALL OTHER US LOCATIONS, AND PR. RARE Australian fruit tree! I have one Meiogyne cylindrocarpa “Fingersop” seedling approximately 2yr old, they grow very slow at first. This rare fruit tree is from Australia, and is distantly related to Paw Paw (which is a native American fruit, Asimina triloba). The fruits of M. cylindrocarpa are about the size of a finger, hence the name “fingersop”, and they have several tan colored flat seeds inside. The flavor is unique, slightly sweet, with a soft flesh, with a flavor that reminded me somewhat of a sugar apple, just not quite as sweet. The flowers smell amazing, much like another distant relative of Fingersop, called “Sweet banana shrub” (Magnolia figo), which makes deliciously scented flowers that smell like bananas. The tree is beautiful, and very easy to grow, fruiting in shade or full sun, but requires good drainage! They fruit in about 5yr from seed in my experience, but I assume it could fruit faster with proper care. They can withstand temps of about 25-30F if exposure is brief, but might defoliate. This tree is one that I recommend for rare fruit collectors, but it will never be a mainstream, or popular fruit. THE ACTUAL TREE THAT I HAVE FOR SALE IS IN THE PICTURE, approx 10 inch tall I have also included pics of the fruits, the flower, and the mother tree. SHIPS VIA PRIORITY MAIL NO SHIPPING TO AZ, but SHIPS TO ALL OTHER USA LOCATIONS, AND PR. THANK YOU!
