The needles on ‘Louie’ are basically a vibrant gold during most of the growing season. In winter, the tree is fully gold, but during the summer, the exterior needles are gold over green inner needles on the tree. This is a dramatic pine in the landscape. It looks amazing when planted amongst colorful Japanese Maples and other conifers. This is a rather slow grower compred to the species. It will be 8-10 feet tall and about 6’ wide in 10 years. USDA Hardiness in zones 3-8. This auction is for one 2 year old grafted tree growing in a 1 gallon pot. The tree photographed is the actual tree for sale. It is 17” tall and 8” wide. The tree will be shipped in it’s 1 gallon container. We ship on Mondays and Tuesdays via 3-day Priority Mail USPS. This ensures the trees will arrive to you by weeks end and not spend a weekend at the post office. This sale is only open to United States bidders. Also, due to phytosanitary restriction regulations, we do not ship to Oregon, California, Washington state, or Hawaii. Please do not bid if you do not live in the U.S. or if you live in one of those three states. Also, please note that a 7% sales tax will be applied to bidders from the state of New Jersey.
