AUCTION NOT OPEN TO BIDDERS FROM CA, OR, WA, or HI Pinus thunbergii ‘Thunderhead’ is a great shrubby semi-dwarf form of Japanese Black Pine that has an irregular mounding habit that brings interest to the landscape. Silvery white candles of new growth appear in the spring over the long dark foliage, which gives the tree an appearance of white rain drops over dark green billowing clouds (likely the inspiration for the name). This tree makes a beautiful focal point specimen in an Asiatic garden, or wherever it is planted amongst other conifers and Japanese Maples. You are bidding on the actual tree that appears in the photographs. It is a nice 2 1/2 year grafted tree. The approximate height of this tree is 17″ (inches) and the width is 7” (inches). The trunk and graft union are pictured in the 5th photograph, for those considering bonsai training. This tree has not received any bonsai training to date. This tree will ship in it’s 1-gallon container. This auction is only open to United States bidders. Also, due to phytosanitary restriction regulations, we do not ship to Oregon, California, Washington state, or Hawaii. Please do not bid if you do not live in the U.S. or if you live in one of those three states. Also, please not that a 7% sales tax will be applied to bidders from the state of New Jersey. No sales tax will be applied to buyers outside of New Jersey. We are experienced growers of rare and unusual trees. Bid with confidence. We provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you are unhappy with the tree when you receive it, simply return it on a Monday or Tuesday of the week following your receipt of the tree, in its original condition, and we’ll reimburse the purchase price (not to include original or return shipping/handling costs incurred). Page’s Run Nursery is offering a nice variety of 1-gallon Japanese Maples this week. Please view our other auctions for these listings. Happy Bidding!!!!
