Squirrels, rabbits, birds, and other animals eat the seeds, and many species of birds also use the trees as nesting sites. It is also an attractive ornamental, with short needles and a pyramid shape. It grows in full sun or partial shade, and does well in dry soils. It is resistant to drought when well-established, and can also resist urban conditions and pollution. The plant in the photo is not the exact plant you will receive, but it will be similar in size. Plant out or in a container immediately upon receipt and water as necessary. The may have slight insect or weather damage to the leaves, but all trees are healthy and already acclimated to outside conditions. I will combine shipping on trees. Please feel free to contact me if you would like to combine multiple tree types into one order or if you would like to discuss shipping costs for multiple trees. I will ship trees on Mondays and Tuesdays of every week, so your tree will be shipped the Monday or Tuesday following your purchase. This is to try to reduce shipping times as much as possible and to avoid the tree being left in a warehouse over the weekend. If you are unhappy with your tree upon arrival, please e-mail me a photo of the damaged tree so that we can discuss a possible remedy. Certain states restrict entry of some tree species. If you live in a state that does not allow entry of this species, please do not order it. No shipping to Alaska or Hawaii.
