I am selling pawpaw seedling that was germinated from seeds collected in 2018, stratified through the winter, and planted this spring. As you can see in the 1st picture taken 9/20/2019, they are around 6″ to 12″. I’ll pickup from the tallest seedling to ship. These seeds were produced from two trees. one tree produce large fruit (picture 2, left) with light yellow flesh (some fruits weight over 8 oz with seed 4-8% w/w). The other tree produce smaller fruit (picture 2, right) with dark yellow flesh & much stronger aroma (fruit weight around 4-6 oz with seed 6-12% w/w).I will ship the tree in it’s cell and seal the growth media with tape. It’s about time to re-pot to a larger pot or plant in the ground. I suggest to keep them indoor for the first year to boost their growth. The tree will produce fruit when reaching about 4-5 ft tall. Pawpaws DO NOT self pollinate. You will need at least two (more better) genetically different trees for cross pollination unless you have another tree in close proximity. About Shipping: I usually ship within 48 hrs of payment. However, to reduce the stress of sitting in post office over the weekend, I may ship between Monday to Wednesday depends on your destination and temperature at your location. If your mailbox is indoor or under shade, please let me know so I will ship without worry about the weather. Please watch your weather and make sure your daily temperature is below 80°F in the next two weeks before ordering.
